Nancy Hendren Kirby is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa, after which she worked at her family’s printing company, selling printing, and managing the accounting and recordkeeping.

Her computer experience began when she worked for Tuttle Aluminum and Bronze and they purchased a Radio Shack TRS 80 computer (Trash 80), which allowed them to begin the process of record keeping on computers, although it was never an integrated system until upgraded to various PC systems.

Her Mac experience began when she worked for her brother, an Indianapolis attorney. Nancy held several volunteer positions in Indiana: working at The Damien Center, a service and support agency for people with HIV/AIDS and St. Vincent Hospice, working with patients and writing their newsletter.

She and her husband, Dick have recently become full time residents of Florida.
